Japanese Cooking Class (2018)

For the second year, the Japanese cooking workshop for JET Programme participants was held at Marusan Comptoir Japonais (401 Notre-Dame Ouest), allowing departing JETs to be taught by a professional Japanese chef!

With help from Hideyuki Imaizumi and JETAA Q/A volunteers, new JETs were able to cook their first (of many, many, many) onigiri.

For the second year in a row, we want to thank everybody at Marusan Comptoir Japonais for their graciousness in providing such an opportunity to departing JETs, and we also wish to thank our volunteers who helped run the show.
